About Us
BIAs are a group of business in a defined geographical boundary that come together to make improvements in the area. Business within the area pay an additional tax (included in their business tax) in order to fund projects to make improvements. The tax enables the the business owners to collectively fund activities to promote and improve the economic vitality of the area and to promote businesses.
The Greenview Industrial Business Improvement Area stretches from 32 Ave N.E. to 41 Ave N.E. and from Centre Street North to 6 St N.E., and contains over 300 businesses. Your BIA is different from other BIAs in the city (such as Inglewood and Kensington) as we have significantly more services and less retail.
